Week of March 30th

March is winding down and we are looking forward to April. This week in Language Arts, we will learn about the gr- blend, the sight words big and little and the -ut word family. In Math, we are continuing to count coins. (A good way to practice counting coins is to dump out a change purse or piggy bank and help your child count all the money.) We will celebrate Spring and Easter during Unit and finish the week with not one, but two egg hunts! Please donate your candy-filled eggs by Wednesday, April 1st. If you would like to help hide eggs for our classroom egg hunt (Friday during Library (1 o’clock), please let me know.)

Thank you to all of our super chaperons who accompanied us to the Children’s Museum. It was a fantastic field trip!

Please continue to read and study sight words every night.

Have a great weekend!
